we host weekly events across fitness, creativity, culture and lifestyle - designed for women who want to meet new people, try new things, and genuinely enjoy themselves while doing it.
founded by four best friends who know firsthand that making friends as an adult isn’t always easy. we’ve been there - and Girlhood was created to change that.

We’re bringing something brand new to Girlhood – our very first life drawing workshop in collaboration with the brilliant Izzy and Morgan from Unserious Life Drawing.
No need to be an artist (or even have picked up a pencil since school!) – this is all about trying something new in a relaxed, supportive setting. All models will be clothed.
Come along for a morning of creativity, connection, and calm. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, tap into your artistic side, or simply enjoy a mindful Sunday activity, you’ll feel right at home.
We’ll provide all materials and snacks – you just bring yourself, your curiosity, and maybe a friend or two.

we’ll be meeting at Embankment Cafe (in Affinity Living) to grab a coffee before heading out on one of our lovely walks around the city. We’re also soooo excited as we’re going to be matching wearing River Island tees!!
This morning is going to be lots of laughs, new friendships and making the most of a slow saturday morning together 🥹
after our walk, we’ll make our way to River Island Arndale, where you'll pick up a free tote bag complete with a £10 River Island voucher, before browsing the latest collection and enjoying a little shopping together ✨

Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by Girlhood.
If you can no longer attend, you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to another woman aged 18+. Please let us know their details before the event.

This event is for women aged 18+.
Whether you’re coming solo or with a friend, everyone is welcome.
drinks
Drinks must be pre-selected after booking so they’re ready for you when you arrive.
Unfortunately, we can’t guarantee changes on the day.
t-shirts
We’ll ask for your preferred t-shirt size after booking.
We’ll do our very best to provide your chosen size, however sizes are subject to availability.
arrival
Please arrive from 10:00am to collect your coffee and t-shirt.
The walk will begin promptly at 10:30am, so we kindly ask everyone to arrive on time.
photography & filming
Photos and videos will be taken throughout the morning by Girlhood and River Island.
By attending, you understand that content may be used across our social media channels and future marketing.
If you’d prefer not to appear in any content, please let a member of the team know when you arrive.
the walK
Please wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear.
The walk will go ahead in most weather conditions unless it’s deemed unsafe.
By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge you’re taking part at your own discretion and are responsible for your own wellbeing during the walk.
river island voucher
Every guest will receive one River Island voucher to redeem in the Arndale store during the event.
Vouchers are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Whether you’re a longtime fantasy reader, a casual Sarah J. Maas fan, or completely new to the genre, join us as we escape into magical worlds and read through incredible fantasy series together.
We’ll be continuing with the Shield of Sparrow series, with Book 1 in August and Book 2 in September.
Only one ticket is required for both dates!

Eligibility: All attendees must be 18+ and identify as women.
Arrival: Please arrive on time. Late entry may not be permitted once the event has started.
Conduct: We expect all attendees to show respect and politeness towards the Girlhood team, fellow attendees, our partnered venues, and brands.
Photography & Videography: By attending, you consent to photography and videography, which may be used for promotional purposes. If you wish to not be included, please notify a member of the Girlhood team on the day.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds unless the event is cancelled by Girlhood.
Ticket Transfers: Tickets may be transferred to another individual, provided they are 18+ and identify as a woman. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to notify Girlhood UK of any changes in attendee details.
